Ricky Thomas Shambley of Alamance County was a proud U.S. Marine veteran, self-employed roofing contractor, and also worked with Doug’s 24 Hour Towing and Recovery. He was deeply rooted in the motorcycle community, serving as Vice President of The Road Ramblers Motorcycle Club and as an official for the All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA).

During Harley drag racing events, Ricky would ride wheelies up and down the track to keep the crowd excited, earning him the nickname “Tricky Ricky.” He had a true passion for motorcycles and the people who rode alongside him.

He loved children and his community, and was known for being kind-hearted, generous, and a true friend to all.

He passed away at the age of 51 on August 4, 2006.
